Police confirm shooting at NorthPark Mall in Davenport
DAVENPORT, Iowa — Law enforcement officials have confirmed that shots were fired at NorthPark Mall in Davenport on Monday evening. According to Davenport Assistant Police Chief Jamie Brown, an off-duty Davenport police officer reported shots had been fired inside the mall around 4:23 p.m. Additional local law enforcement responded to the scene, including the Iowa State Patrol and Scott County Sheriff's Office.

Nation's Restaurant News reported today that EYM Pizza L.P. has filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the eastern district of Texas Monday.
