Dallas police investigate early morning fatal shooting
DALLAS, Texas — A man was found shot and killed early Sunday morning in Dallas, police say. On July 21, 2024, at approximately 3:55 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call in the 3300 block of W. Pentagon Parkway. Upon arrival, officers discovered 31-year-old Patrick Lee Island II lying on the ground with gunshot wounds. Dallas Fire Rescue responded, but Island was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a press release from the Dallas Police Department. The investigation is ongoing and will be documented under case number 111594-2024.
