Winds from the north are carrying smoke into the Denver area. Over the past few days, you may have noticed haze in the skies over Colorado — that’s due to wildfire smoke. COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - On Friday, July 12, the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) responded to a stabbing near an apartment complex on E. Cheyenne Rd. The Cheesman Street Residences affordable housing project has broken ground with home prices to start at $385,000, half the average price of a home in Erie. Erie and the developer, Vertikal, will make 35 affordable housing units in the northeast corner of Cheesman Street and County Line Road.
