The Mankato Department of Public Safety reported that officers responded to the scene on July 19, where a 16-year-old male had been injured during a disturbance just before 1 a.m. According to the City of Mankato, Minnesota Government , the young man was airlifted to Mayo Clinic in Rochester to receive treatment for stab wounds to his abdomen.
