A house on Groton Avenue in Cortland is no longer being demolished after the city and the owner entered an agreement. According to Roy Everett, the captain of the city’s code enforcement division, said the city has a signed agreement with the owner to sell the house at 169-171 Groton Ave. within 30 days.

Two treated for injuries in Cortlandville crash
CORTLANDVILLE, NY (CortacaToday) -Two people are recovering after a crash in Cortlandville. According to the Cortlandville Fire Department, a truck with a gooseneck trailer struck an SUV and overturned at the intersection of Route 13 and Lime Hollow Road. Authorities say it happened around 1:20 on Friday afternoon and closed a portion of Lime Hollow Road. Rescue struts were used to assist the driver out of the overturned truck.
