Three people are dead after separate motorcycle crashes in Gresham, McMinnville and Clark County over the weekend, police reported. Gresham police responded to reports of a crash at Southeast 190th Drive and Cheldelin Road around 10:00 a.m. Saturday. They arrived to find a pickup truck and a motorcycle had collided.

Studies show that our warming world increases the frequency and intensity of deadly heat waves. Heat waves have hit the Pacific Northwest this summer and are suspected of causing at least 16 deaths in Oregon alone, the Guardian reported.
