The Junior Service League of LaGrange is set to host the 40th annual Sweet Land of Liberty Parade on Saturday, July 6.

The annual kids parade will begin at 10 a.m. at the LSPA parking lot, go up Bull Street and end at the Sweetland Amphitheater.

The theme for this year’s parade is “Red, White, and Boots.” Anthony Talley, founder of the $1 Thursday Program, will serve as Grand Marshal. Anthony is a philanthropist who collects donations to help people in need in the community.

Participation in the event is free of charge but organizers ask that you register beforehand.

Children must have their parent’s signature to be in the parade. Please submit a completed registration form via the JSL website at https://www.jsloflagrange.com/parade-registration.

The lineup for the parade will be in the parking lot on the corner of Bull Street and W Broome Street.
