OC Public Libraries welcomes bestselling author Henry Winkler

OC Public Libraries’ “A Slice of Literary Orange” series features a variety of speakers throughout the year, and Thursday at 6:30 p.m. actor and author Henry Winkler will stop by Laguna Hills Community Center.

Winkler is most well-known for his iconic role as “The Fonz,” aka “Fonzy” or “Arthur Fonzarelli,” on the classic television show “Happy Days.” Winkler has had an exceptional career that spans more than five decades in film and television.

“In addition to his work on screen, Winkler has also made a significant impact as a children’s book author, co-writing the popular Hank Zipzer series, inspired by his own experiences with dyslexia,” event organizers said in a statement. Winkler’s autobiography “BEING HENRY… The Fonz and Beyond” was published last fall. The book was on the New York Times best-seller list for 11 weeks and won a Good Reads Award for best humor book.

Registration is not required, but organizers suggested early arrival. Books will be available for purchase, courtesy of Mysterious Galaxy.
