Killer Virus Now Spreading All Over Texas
As Texas is dealing with the scorching summer temperatures, but the extreme ultraviolet radiation is just the tip of the threat the outdoors brings in the Lone Star State during this time of year. We have grown accustomed to dealing with the presence of West Nile Virus over the past twenty years, but now a new viral threat is surging across Texas, and once again we have the world's most deadly animal to blame.

ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - It’ll be a touch warmer across the region today. Highs will warm into the 90s for most today with some 80s for the mountains and triple digits for areas along the Rio Grande. Midland is looking to reach a high of 94 degrees while Odessa is looking to reach a high of 95 degrees. Skies will be mostly sunny through the day with relatively light winds. Rain chances look to remain confined to the mountains this afternoon/evening. The majority will remain dry throughout the day.
