LPSS updates discipline policy to reflect state laws around suspensions, expulsions
The Lafayette Parish School System has updated its student handbook to reflect changes to state law that deal with discipline. The board unanimously approved the changes Friday during a special meeting. It approved policy to reflect the state ban on cell phones in classes and other legislation passed last month that creates specific language about school discipline.
