Hawaii Fluid Art opens in Noblesville
Hawaii Fluid Art, a new art studio that offers classes in fluid art canvas painting, resin tumbler painting and more, opened Aug. 10 at 13185 Harrell Pkwy. in Noblesville. According to franchise owners Siân and Oliver Schmidt, a married couple who live in Carmel, the new studio is the first Hawaii Fluid Art franchise in Indiana.
Colts' Jonathan Taylor: Starters slated to play Thursday
Taylor and the Colts' starters are on track to play into the second quarter of Thursday's preseason finale against the Bengals, James Boyd of The Athletic reports. After Taylor gets his anticipated reps Thursday, look for Tyler Goodson, Evan Hull, Zavier Scott and Demetric Felton to have an opportunity to make their cases for depth slotting in an Indy backfield that also includes Trey Sermon, who's been dealing with a hamstring issue. As the coming season approaches, Taylor is healthy and entrenched as his team's clear-cut lead back, a context that should result in a high-volume role in the team's Anthony Richardson-helmed offense.

Greenwood Christian Joins Indiana Crossroads Conference in 2025
Greenwood Christian Academy will join the Indiana Crossroads Conference (ICC) in July 2025, amid significant conference realignment in Johnson County. This new alignment includes seven small private schools, such as Cardinal Ritter and Covenant Christian. The move comes as Beech Grove, Monrovia, and others leave for the newly formed Hoosier Legends Conference. GCA's entry into the ICC places its football program in a competitive environment, especially with teams like Indy Lutheran, recent state champions.
