Teen wanted in deadly July 4 shooting arrested in Georgia, police say
COLUMBIA, S.C. — A teen wanted in a deadly July 4 shooting in Columbia has been arrested roughly 170 miles away in Georgia, police say. The shooting happened at Woodland Terrace Apartments in the 300 block of South Beltline Boulevard around 3 p.m. on Thursday. Police said the male victim was taken to an area hospital but died a short time later. Officers spent several hours at the scene collecting evidence and asking witnesses to come forward with information.
