PHOTOS: New Dillon Elementary School to open for students in August
DILLON, S.C. (WMBF) - Officials in the Pee Dee provided a first look at a new elementary school opening for the upcoming academic year. Dillon Elementary School will open on Aug. 5 for students, according to an announcement from Dillon School District 4. The facility will hold students from PreK until third grade and will combine three of the district’s former elementary schools (East Elementary, South Elementary and Stewart Heights Elementary.)
Minor kidnapped, beaten at Conway-area party
HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — A juvenile partygoer was kidnapped and beaten in the Conway area earlier this month, according to police documents. Horry County police responded to a home around 1:30 in the morning on Friday, July 19, where the victim reported he'd been assaulted at a party off Cultra Road near Conway.
