Where Is Minnesota Looking At Adding A New Freeway?
I've been waiting years for some road relief, and while it's not coming to the St. Cloud area, at least in terms of a new freeway, the state of Minnesota is looking at converting a highway in the North Metro into the newest freeway. The move would eliminate stoplights and add over or underpasses for those intersections.

3 motorcyclists killed in 10-hour span on Minnesota roads
MINNEAPOLIS — Three motorcyclists were killed in separate crashes on Minnesota roads Thursday in a 10-hour span, including two high-speed fatalities just 30 minutes apart on Interstate 35.The first crash happened at about 2 p.m. near the Shingle Creek Crossing shopping mall in Brooklyn Center. Police say the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.The Minnesota State Patrol says the second crash occurred at about 11:35 p.m. on Interstate 35 near Elko-New Market. "Very high levels" of COVID being detected across Minnesota, local numbers also up
(Minneapolis, MN)--The University of Minnesota is using wastewater sampling to track the spread of COVID in the state. According to the CDC, Minnesota is one of 27 states seeing "very high levels" of coronavirus right now. The vice head of the U of M Medical School says there's "no question" that a lot of COVID is spreading right now in the community and statewide.
