Hosting Dinners for Change with Kelly Welk
Kelly Welk and her family in Bremerton are helping change lives one dinner plate at a time. About 10 years ago, she learned about Atlas Free, an organization based in Kirkland that is dedicated to ending human trafficking. Welk, who has a passion for hosting dinner parties, came up with the idea to host a dinner where she asked her friends whether they would pay for a seat so the funds could be donated to Atlas Free. That became the first Freedom Dinner.
