Valley facility leased to Amazon changes hands in largest industrial sale this year
A 1.2 million-square-foot warehouse fully leased to Amazon has sold in the largest single-building industrial transaction so far this year for metro Phoenix. Lithium Battery starts Garage Fire in PV
7/22 In the past 8-days, Central Arizona Fire has responded to two residential fires caused by lithium batteries. Officials say Friday they responded to a home in the area of Alwick Way and Sutton Trail in Prescott Valley after a battery being charged for a Segway caught fire. The homeowner noticed the battery getting hot and unplugged it, but 5-minutes later heard a pop and found the garage on fire. Crews quickly doused the fire, limiting the damage. Firefighters also responded to a house fire recently in which the lithium battery on a skateboard caught fire while being charged.
