Excessive rain causes power loss, parks maintenance in Lake Mills
Nearly 2000 residents were without power in Lake Mills Sunday morning. Straight-line winds recorded at 92 miles per hour knocked down trees which led to electrical pole damage. LAKE MILLS — “A community living room” is how Abbie Pabon described her vision for the space shared by Present Not Perfect Play Co. and Simple Kup coffee that opened earlier this year. Lake Mills' Max Ruedebusch commits to play college football at Yale
Lake Mills senior outside linebacker/defensive end Max Ruedebusch committed to play college football at Yale University recently. Ruedebusch, a 6-foot-5, 235-pound prospect, also held Division 1 offers from Air Force, Army, Cornell and Eastern Illinois. Ruedebusch led the L-Cats in solo tackles (37) and total tackles (63) last season, adding 4.5 sacks, three tackles for loss and two forced fumbles. He was an honorable mention all-conference selection in the Capitol Conference at outside linebacker and first-team selection at wide receiver, where he caught 15 passes for 338 yards and six touchdowns.
