Softball: Lake Mills tops Weyauwega-Fremont, Reavis at Woodside Sports Complex

MAUSTON — Lake Mills’ softball team beat Weyauwega-Fremont 8-0 and defeated Reavis (Ill.) 8-3 at Woodside Sports Complex on Saturday.

Against the Warhawks, Ava Kleinfeldt fanned 13 and walked one over seven shutout innings of four-hit ball to earn the decision.

Haydenn Sellnow doubled home a run in the fourth, adding a run-scoring triple in the fifth to make it 7-0.

Versus Reavis, Kleinfeldt went 4-for-4, drove in three and scored twice. She also struck out four over 5 1/3 innings, allowing two earned on five hits to pick up the win.

Sellnow lined a three-run triple to left in the sixth. Kleinfeldt and Taylor Wollin, who was 3-for-4, both added RBI triples with two away later in the frame for the L-Cats (3-0).
