Volleyball: Lakeside sweeps Poynette to remain unbeaten in Capitol North play

Lakeside Lutheran's volleyball team swept visiting Poynette 25-12, 25-13, 25-19 to remain undefeated in Capitol North play on Tuesday, Oct. 8.

Ella Schuetz produced a game-high 19 kills, adding nine digs and two aces for the Warriors (19-16, 6-0 in conference).

Juliet Boche contributed nine kills, Brooklyn Lenz and Anna Jaeger made one block apiece and Carrie Becraft chipped in 10 digs.

Lakeside's Kourtney Zech put up 24 assists and Addie Kraft added 10 assists.

"Our girls did well coming out strong and earning their points," Lakeside Lutheran volleyball coach Jenny Krauklis said. "We had a team total of 49 kills and hit .357 as a team, which is our highest team percentage yet.

"Ella Lauber had a great night getting seven kills and no errors, hitting .583 which is a new career high."

The Warriors host Lodi next Tuesday.
