Kids Satisfy Sweet Tooth at Candyland Camp In Superior
SUPERIOR, Wis. — A dance studio in Superior is teaching everything sweet at a summer camp this week. Sterling Silver Studio is hosting a Candyland Camp for kids ages 5 to 11. The 18 campers get to create their own candy, learn the science behind candy making, and experiment with their senses. And since they are at a dance studio, of course there are plenty of dance parties.

Superior, WI- Boat motors ran early on Saturday for the 6th annual Vets on the Lake fishing event. The Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans, The Douglas County Veterans Service Office, and the Western Lake Superior Trolling Association host this event. A Wisconsin man was convicted and sentenced to time served Monday for threatening to shoot state lawmakers in 2022 if they passed a bill allowing teachers to carry firearms. James Stearns of Fond du Lac was found guilty of making terrorist threats, a felony, by Judge Anthony Nehls and sentenced to seven days in jail, which he had already served, and fined $500.
