Lake Oswego School District to host parenting workshop with LOSD CARES

Join Lake Oswego School District staff for a parenting workshop from 9-10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8 in the Hallinan Elementary School library.

“We encourage you to attend just as you are, with an open heart and mind, ready to feel supported and enlightened. Parenting is a journey filled with both challenges and joys and together, we can strengthen our connections and build resilience as we raise the next generation,” the district said in a message on Parent Square.

The event is facilitated by the LOSD Connection and Resilience in Education Series (CARES) team. LOSD CARES is made up of district social workers and counselors who work to improve the well-being of students in schools every day.

The event is co-hosted by the Hallinan Parent-Teacher Organization.
