    'Go play:' Pick up Lake Oswego Reads book or attend Oswego Heritage House Family Day

    Lake Oswego Reads book giveaway

    Local library cardholders can pick up a free copy of the Lake Oswego Reads’ 2024 selection “Honor” by Thrity Umrigar from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 2 at the Lake Oswego Public Library.

    The program will offer a month-long slate of events based on the book in April.

    Heritage House Family Day

    The Oswego Heritage house will host a Family Day at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, March 2 at the building in Lake Oswego. The event will include activities and a chance to engage with local history.

    Wilsonville speaker series

    The Wilsonville DEI Speaker Series continues with a talk titled “LGBTQIA+: Understanding and Allyship,” presented by Erika Pham, at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 6 at the Clackamas Community College campus in Wilsonville. Pham is the chair of the city’s DEI Committee and she will discuss “how gender and sexual orientation are concepts with varied meanings across time and cultures, and in what ways they are evolving rapidly today,” according to the city website.
