Lake Oswego School board approves two new members of the budget committee

Before Lake Oswego School District Assistant Superintendent of Business Services Stuart Ketzler can begin to shape the 2024-2025 budget, he needs a fully formed budget committee to work with along the way.

During the Feb. 20 meeting of the Lake Oswego School Board, two new members of the legal budget committee, Deon Logan and Sarah Mehrabzadeh, were approved by the board.

Logan and Mehrabzadeh will serve their terms through June 30, 2027.

Logan is part of the Culture of Belonging Committee and works for the Multnomah Education Service District. Mehrabzadeh sits on the budget committee and decided to extend her tenure until 2027. She volunteered to continue sitting on the budget committee and works for the Tigard-Tualatin School District.
