Democracy at stake in November

We have some serious thinking to do as we approach the November elections. Democrats have been delivering on better-paying jobs, infrastructure and tax fairness while Republicans and Donald Trump have only grown more chaotic, extreme and even frightening! They’re promoting a monstrous idea they call “Project 2025”, which includes plans to undermine our democracy and fire thousands of federal workers who make our government run, whether it’s around the world or as close as your neighborhood post office.

Don’t be fooled by harmless-sounding GOP talking points. “Project 2025” would use the Insurrection Act to undermine our civil rights and even engage the military to stifle dissent. The America we know and grew up loving would become an America we no longer recognize. It’s not too far-fetched to say the 2024 elections could be your last chance to vote, period. That’s why we MUST reject all MAGA candidates from Trump all the way down the ballot, and encourage our friends and families to vote, too. VOTE. It’s your voice and your best defense to preserve and protect your democracy.
