'Go play:' Check out forum on AI or sustainability fair in Lake Oswego

Kruse Way Economic Forum

This forum, 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 30 at the Kruse Oaks Conference Center, will focus on how artificial intelligence will change business. Professor Christof Teuscher with the Portland State University Maseeh College of Engineering & Computer Science, Martin Medeiros with Buckley Law and April Younglove with the Lake Oswego Public Library will be speakers.

Fertile Ground Festival

The Lakewood Center for the Arts will host six new theatrical works as part of the Fertile Ground Festival from April 14-21. Tickets cost $10 and festival passes cost $75 for adults and $35 for students. For more information, visit www.lakewood-center.org.

Lake Oswego Reads author presentation

Thrity Umrigar, who wrote the Lake Oswego Reads 2024 selection “Honor,” will deliver a presentation to the community at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 25 at Lakeridge High School.

Art fair

Lake Oswego youth will display their work during the Outside the Art Room showcase and auction from 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 19 at Christ Church Parish.

Sustainability Resource Fair

The third annual Lake Oswego Sustainability Resource Fair will occur from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 20 at Lakeridge Middle School. The Earth Day event will include booths, activities and information.

Kruse Way Rotary bingo night

The Kruse Way Rotary will hosts its first bingo night from 5-8:30 p.m. May 1 at the Lakewood Center for the Arts. Tickets are $75 and proceeds go to several charities supporting youth. For more information visit krusewayrotary.org.
