Aird and Moehl named Lakeridge High School Athletes of the Week for Apr. 17

Aird is a junior on the Lakeridge boys’ varsity lacrosse team, and Moehl is a sophomore on the softball team.

Helping bring victories to the Pacers in both lacrosse and softball, athletes Kellen Aird and Maddie Moehl have been named Lakeridge High School’s Athletes of the Week for the week of April 17th.

Aird, a junior midfielder and a team captain on the boys’ varsity lacrosse team, has become a respected leader for the Pacers on and off the field. “In our victory over Grant, [Aird] scored the go-ahead goal that started our run, and then scored two additional goals as we put the game out of reach,” his coach said.

On the softball team, sophomore shortstop Moehl has been helping bring success to the team with her stellar performance. “[Moehl] batted .500 in our game against Newberg, with her first career home run and 3 RBIs,” her coach said. “[Her] impressive play on both offense and defense significantly impacted the Pacer’s 10-3 win over the Tigers.”
