Girls’ Varsity Golf Team named Lake Oswego High School Athletes of the Week for May 29

Following their historic win at the 6A OSAA State Championship, the Lake Oswego High School girls’ varsity golf team have been named Lake Oswego High School’s Athletes of the Week for the week of May 29th.

The Lakers girls showcased incredible skill and teamwork, achieving a collective two-day score of 632 to outshine Sunset by 14 strokes at Trysting Tree Golf Club in Corvallis.

Sophomore Hailey Lim led the charge with a stellar two-day total of 147, securing a tie for fifth place individually. Her performance was closely followed by junior standout Ansley Kang, who finished seventh overall. The team’s depth was further demonstrated by Alexis Zou’s impressive 12th place finish, Olivia Mygrant’s solid 17th place showing, and Kennady Hottel’s strong effort, placing 39th.

This victory marks the first state championship in 46 years for the LOHS girls’ golf program. The Lakers' triumphant season saw them undefeated in all match play.
