Do you have pressing questions about the future of the Lake Oswego School District?

The Lake Oswego School Board will host a town hall from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, June 8 in the Lake Oswego Middle School Cafeteria. The town will be moderated by Lake Oswego Review editor Patrick Malee, who will present questions submitted by the community.

The town hall will cover the recommendations made by the Long Range Facilities Planning Committee on May 20, including a proposed feasibility study to gather more information on possible construction projects such as at Lake Grove Elementary.

All members of the Lake Oswego community, including students, can submit questions for the town hall at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeexGmawPJRBH97AACBN2oLWS82EJoCwhByckeKKOA4n_SzoA/viewform?usp=sf_link.

Hard copies of the question submission form are available at the LOSD office at 2455 Country Club Road. The deadline for questions is 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 6.

During the town hall, the community members will have one minute to ask their questions. According to LOSD, questions will be chosen to avoid repetition and to ensure a wide variety of topics regarding the proposed recommendations from the long range facilities plan committee.

The town hall is not a forum for public testimony or comment but an opportunity to have specific questions addressed by the board members.
