The city of Lake Oswego announced increased police and park ranger presence at George Rogers Park and Foothills Park, according to a post on X. Specifically, the city is keying in on water-access locations; areas of emphasis include enforcing park rules and alcohol restrictions and preventing underage drinking.

The city’s post said it was increasing police presence “to ensure a safe & enjoyable experience for everyone.”

It later added: “Enjoy the weather this weekend. Together we can make our parks great for everyone to enjoy.”
