Lakeridge Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team Named Athletes of the Week for June 26

Following a stellar season culminating in a trip to the State Championships, the Lakeridge High School boys’ varsity lacrosse team has been honored as Athletes of the Week for the week of June 26th.

The team, ranked #2 in the state, finished with an impressive overall record of 20-3-0, outscoring their opponents 209-126.

Reflecting on the season, the coach expressed immense pride in the team’s accomplishments. "Our staff is very proud of our players and what they accomplished this season. The close loss in the state championship game was disappointing, but our quality of play against a favored opponent was something we will build on for next season. Finishing with only one in-state loss was the culmination of the hard work and dedication from our entire team," he said.
