First Sunday Market in Lake Grove returns this weekend

While the regular Lake Oswego Farmers’ Market continues all summer, local residents will have another option for fresh produce in Lake Grove.

The First Sunday Market in Lake Grove returns Sunday, Aug. 4 and will continue Sunday, Sept. 1, Sunday, Oct. 6 and Sunday, Nov. 3. Each event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Hallmark Drive.

Each market will have a theme such as Pet-a-Palooza (including a pet parade and costume contest) Aug. 4, Back to School Block Party (including carnival games) Sept. 1, Sip & Shop (the chance to try wine from local wineries) Oct. 6 and Fall Harvest (fall produce, crafts and activities) Nov. 3.

“Based on community feedback, the Lake Grove Farmers’ Market expands this year to include theme-based events. Your favorite farmers and foodies return to share the bounty of the Pacific Northwest. Plus, guests can find the addition of artisans vendors, expanded kids activities, live entertainment, beer & wine gardens and more!” the city website reads.
