    ACCIDENTS

    8/17 1:05 p.m. An accident was reported near Country Club Court and Country Club Road. It was unknown if anyone was injured.

    8/18 1:46 p.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported near the 16100 block of Boones Ferry Road. No one was injured.

    8/18 7:44 p.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported near the 4900 block of Galen Street. No one was injured.

    THEFT

    8/16 6:53 a.m. A backpack, wallet and medications were stolen from a vehicle at an undisclosed location.

    8/16 7:42 a.m. A package valued at $80 was reported stolen from a front porch near the 1400 block of Hood View Lane.

    8/16 5:11 p.m. Theft of an undisclosed nature was reported near the 90 block of B Avenue.

    8/16 10:59 a.m. A caller said they returned from vacation and learned their house sitter stole several prescription pills.

    FRAUD

    8/16 2:24 p.m. A caller said that while sitting in her car, someone came up and asked her to help pick up thumb tacks on the street near the 400 block of A Avenue. While she helped, someone went in her car, took her bank cards and attempted to withdraw $1,000.

    MISC.

    8/16 7:08 a.m. A man was wandering around and asking an employee where he could get methamphetamine near the 400 block of A Avenue.

    8/16 7:55 a.m. A woman was wandering around a property at an undisclosed location. She said she was looking at the house and waiting to hear from her real estate agent.

    8/16 1:04 p.m. A caller said someone tried to make fraudulent purchases on their account, but didn’t get any money.

    8/16 2:47 p.m. A man said he had a ticket dismissed and needed a form from the police department to prove it.

    8/16 2:49 p.m. A resident said their dog was attacked by another dog near the 5300 block of Parkview Drive.

    8/16 4:19 p.m. A caller said someone had his feet up during a church service near the 700 block of A Avenue and they were told to let the police know. The man had been asked to leave the week before.

    8/16 10:58 p.m. Singing and chanting could be heard near the 5100 block of Tualata Lane. Apparently it sounded like “50 guys singing and chanting at the top of their lungs.”

    8/17 12:09 a.m. Between 10-15 kids were seen jumping in the lake and making lots of noise near the 700 block of North Shore Road.

    8/17 12:20 a.m. A possible DUII was reported near South State Street and McVey Avenue.

    8/17 7:50 a.m. A caller said her dog was locked in a bathroom and she needed help near the 11800 block of Kerr Parkway.

    8/17 11:51 a.m. An assault was reported at an undisclosed location.

    8/17 2:05 p.m. A possible domestic incident was reported.

    8/17 3:43 p.m. Two suspicious looking people were on motorized scooters and “speeding up the trails” near the 2400 block of Iron Mountain Boulevard.

    8/17 4:04 p.m. A caller heard a “massive bang” near the 10 block of Jefferson Parkway and worried a vehicle drove off the ravine. It turned out it was just thunder.

    8/17 4:15 p.m. A child custody dispute was reported.

    8/17 7:32 p.m. A woman was screaming at people in a building at an undisclosed location.

    8/17 9:14 p.m. A domestic incident was reported.

    8/17 10:43 p.m. Two teenagers were pounding on doors and also throwing fireworks at doors at an undisclosed location.

    8/17 11:18 p.m. A caller said a large group of teen boys walked towards him near Oak Meadow Lane and Bergis Road, and asked him why he was there. He thought they were the same kids who set fireworks off behind his house that night.

    8/18 9:01 a.m. A resident said there was a box with a canister of flammable gas inside it near Fairmont Road and Ridgeway Road. Police found that it was not flammable gas.

    8/18 9:16 a.m. A caller said something was beeping inside a dumpster near the 800 block of 9th Street.

    8/18 10:16 a.m. A man was sleeping halfway out in the street near the 500 block of A Avenue.

    8/18 12:14 p.m. Someone said there was a large tent that looked “insecure” because of wind near the 200 block of Ridgeway Road.

    8/18 1:38 p.m. A suspicious looking woman had been at a location near the 1300 block of McVey Avenue for four days in a row, and was acting “very odd.” She was apparently driving recklessly through the parking lot, then leaving.

    8/18 2:51 p.m. A suspicious looking person was holding a knife near the 10 block of Jefferson Parkway. It turned out that it was not a knife.

    8/18 4:55 p.m. A possible domestic incident was reported.

    8/18 6:07 p.m. A caller said kids were kicking a ball and she worried it would damage her car near the 5200 block of Jean Road.

    8/18 6:39 p.m. A resident said two men and two women were asking her to set up an online account and she thought they were trafficking people, as well as stealing her tax refunds. She added that she believed they were responsible for ruining her life.

    8/18 8:32 p.m. A caller was worried about someone who was intoxicated and waiting for an Uber near B Avenue and 3rd Street.

    8/18 8:53 p.m. A caller said their daughter was at Safeway and a man was staring at her and her friends, then waved and moved towards them. Then he followed them to 7/11.

    8/19 12:40 a.m. Someone said they heard screaming and dogs barking at an undisclosed location.

    8/19 4:07 a.m. A man was seen trying to break into a car near the 10 block of Touchstone.
