Feed our rural kids hosting cash for kids fundraiser
NORTHWOODS, WI. (WJFW) — Across the nation, many families suffer from food insecurity, but one local organization is fighting back right here in the Northwoods. Feed Our Rural Kids, also known as FORK, supplies meals to children who may need extra help to have a full belly. To support that mission, they are hosting their Cash for Kids fundraiser. Perry Pokrandt, the President of Feed Our Rural Kids, said FORK offers support to families in the Phillips, Northland Pines, and Three Lakes school districts, covering around 880 miles of northern Wisconsin.
