Heat advisory in effect for Magnolia area
Columbia County and surrounding areas of South Arkansas and North Louisiana remain under a heat advisory until 8 p.m. Tuesday. The National Weather Service in Shreveport said heat index values in excess of 105 degrees may be expected in portions of south central and southwest Arkansas, north central and northwest Louisiana, and east and northeast Texas.

New football teams coming to NEA
