Body of man recovered at Antlers Park Beach in Lakeville

Dakota County's dive team recovered the body of a man from Lake Marion in Lakeville after he went underwater and did not resurface.,

The sheriff's office announced it was launching a search for the man after he went under at Antlers Park Beach Sunday evening, with the park closed to the public while the search was conducted.

In an update on its Facebook page, Sheriff Joe Leko confirmed that officers recovered the man's body at around 8 p.m., finding him 40 yards from shore.

The man's identity has not been confirmed at this time but Sheriff Leko offered his "deep condolences to his family and friends."
