Yaakov Katz, an American-born journalist and author who served as editor-in-chief of The Jerusalem Post, was the featured speaker. He focused on the role Magen David Adom plays while also educating people about the challenges the country faces both within its borders and in Gaza, and also discussed the Israel-U.S. relationship, as well as the complex connections between Israel and Jews around the world, according to a news release.
