Ocean County Man Charged With Killing Roommate
JACKSON – A township man remains behind bars, accused of the stabbing death of his roommate, authorities said. In a joint news release, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Jackson Township Police Chief Matthew Kunz confirmed 38-year-old Louis Gargiso has been charged with Murder, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, in connection with the death of 74-year-old Robert Sunris. The incident took place on July 19.

Teenager Charged With Robbing 3 Trenton Taxicab Drivers: Police
Noah Brantley of Trenton was arrested on Thursday, July 18 on the 400 block of Lamberton Street, Trenton police said. In two of the robberies, Brantley requested a cab to the area of Brunswick Avenue and Sanford Street. Brantley allegedly robbed the drivers of their wallets and money once they arrived at his intended destination in south Trenton, police said.

Residents are advised to avoid this part of the roadway and follow all posted detours during this time. Work will begin on Monday at 7:00 AM and will continue for three days, according to a nixle alert. NJ man dies a hero after rescuing children from dangerous river
HAMILTON (Atlantic) — A man who rescued two boys from a river Wednesday afternoon died several hours later. Township police said the boys, ages 8 and 12, went swimming in the Great Egg Harbor River at Weymouth Furnace County Park around 1 p.m. on July 17. Swimming is prohibited.
