MIDDLETOWN, NJ: The Middletown Township Police Department this month held two graduations for their Summer 2024 Police Youth Week Camps. Mercer County Parks Hosts “Trenton Talks Basketball Tournament”, Drawing Over 250 Residents
Mercer County Park hosted the first Trenton Talks Basketball Tournament, with a portion of all proceeds going to benefit Trenton’s A Better Way foundation. The tournament brought out over 250 residents from Trenton and surrounding communities. 12 basketball teams competed for top honors. There was also a double-dutch jump rope contest, judged by Skil-Lit Café Owners Robert Wilborn and Dionna Maldonado.
Jersey Shore beach bans swimming all summer over high levels of fecal matter
There Shore-ly won’t be any swimming here. High levels of fecal bacteria found in the water at Beachwood Beach West in the Jersey Shore borough of Beachwood led officials to ban on swimming there for the rest of the summer. ShopRite is completely revamping one of its stores in central New Jersey, according to a new redevelopment plan proposed by officials. Holmdel-based Saker ShopRites, which owns and operates 39 ShopRite stores in Central Jersey and along the Jersey Shore, initially proposed building a brand new ShopRite in the parking lot of an existing store in Freehold Township.
