WEST HAVEN, Conn. — With a new school year comes a new name for a Catholic institution in Fairfield. The former Notre Dame Catholic High School is now being called Notre Dame Prep of Sacred Heart University. The Diocese of Bridgeport sold the school to the university on July 1.

Robbinsville Council Approves Purchases of Vehicles, Gear to Keep Community Safe
ROBBINSVILLE, NJ - The Robbinsville Township Council has authorized $275,683.34 in spending to outfit both the Robbinsville Police Department and the Robbinsville Fire Department with vehicles, equipment, and gear their chiefs have deemed necessary to help keep the community safe. In one resolution, the purchase of two 2024 Ford Expedition XL 4x4 with emergency equipment upfitting was authorized from Ciocca Ford of Flemington. Stafford Township Police Rescue Injured Boater After Nighttime Collision
STAFFORD - On August 23, 2024, early in the morning, the Stafford Township Police Marine Unit responded to a distress call from the U.S. Coast Guard. A vessel had collided with an intercoastal water marker, resulting in significant damage, flooding, and injuries to one person on board. Sgt. Christopher Smith and Patrolman Justin Barbuto, members of the Marine Unit, were the first responders to arrive at the scene.
