Kent Police seek man who reportedly tried to kidnap girl from apartment
Kent Police are asking for the public’s help to find a man who reportedly tried to kidnap a child from an apartment at about 10:46 p.m. Friday, July 19. Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of East James Street in regard to an attempted kidnapping, according to a July 21 Kent Police news release. The 911 caller said that an unknown man had reached inside a window of their home and grabbed their young daughter.
