WESTON, WI (WSAU) — Two new water wells are online in Weston, but that won’t be the end of their water infrastructure upgrades. Public Works Director Michael Wodalski says the new wells will allow them to shift attention to cleaning up other issues without interrupting service. “We won’t have to worry about being low on water,” said Wodalski. “We can do well rehabs, clean up secondary contaminants like iron and manganese that cause aesthetic issues in some of our wells.”
Patient reunites with lifesavers in Alpha after a year
ALPHA, Mich. (WLUC) - Emergency personnel lined the Anderson Ball Field in Alpha for a surprise reunion with a patient on Saturday. On July 22 of last year, Steven Gorman fell from a ladder while tackling a hornet’s nest at a relative’s home in Crystal Falls.
