Jasper’s Downtown Revitalization project begins second phase
The City of Jasper is set to begin the second phase of work on the Downtown Revitalization project. Once again, Ragle Construction will be completing the work one section at a time as they extend the improved areas from the existing renovated sections north and south along Main Street. Improvements reflect what has been accomplished around the Square minus the paver parking spaces. Improvements include the addition of new curb and guttering, ADA-compliant sidewalks and curb ramps. Electric supply and storm sewer infrastructure will also be updated.

NEW ALBANY, Ind — A New Albany funeral home had its licenses suspended after state investigators found it was operating under "dangerous conditions." Indiana's Attorney General began investigating Spring Valley Funeral & Cremation Services after a consumer filed a complaint with the state office. Investigators determined the funeral home posed a "clear and immediate danger" to public health and safety.
