Big rig loses control in Big Horns east of Lovell
A semi-truck lost control as it traveled down U.S. Highway 14A near mile marker 76 in the Big Horn Mountains on Monday morning at around 8 a.m. According to Wyoming Highway Patrol Trooper Daniel Hite, the truck crashed through about 100 feet of guardrail as it careened off the road. The accident took place 28.7 miles east of Lovell. The driver, who was from South Carolina, was transported by ambulance to North Big Horn Hospital for treatment of his injuries and was released shortly afterward.
