Graceland University names Bratlie to President’s List

Madison Bratlie of Maricopa has been named to the President’s List at Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa.

Bratlie, who was well known as a lifeguard at the Copper Sky pool, joins Graceland University students with a perfect 4.0 grade point average.

Bratlie was a Mountain Pointe High School volleyball player before attending college. Her favorite TV show is “Grey’s Anatomy,” and her favorite movie is “Back to the Future.”

She says her biggest fear is failure and she’s motivated to make a difference.

The Graceland President’s List students represent a diverse range of academic disciplines, reflecting Graceland’s commitment to a well-rounded and comprehensive educational experience, according to the institution.

Founded in 1895 and sponsored by Community of Christ, Graceland University is “a community of passionate, caring and dedicated individuals who put their relationships with students first,” college officials said.
