Aaron Carter's estate was worth at least six figures when he tragically died at the age of 34.

The troubled singer’s unexpected death in November 2022 left his family, including big brother Nick Carter and twin sister Angel Carter, devastated, and his legions of loyal fans paid tribute to the star when news of his passing was announced. The I Want Candy hitmaker, who reportedly suffered from mental health and drug addiction issues, died after drowning in his bathtub at his home in Lancaster, California.

Almost two years since his tragic death, legal documents have been obtained by RadarOnline.com, which show Aaron’s estate is worth over $750,000, with many of his possessions still waiting to be appraised by experts. Aaron also owned an extensive - and valuable - gun collection, which could massively increase the value of his estate.

Electronics belonging to the singer, as well as furniture, jewelry and vehicles still need to be evaluated, the outlet reports. The final total of his estate will also include any other royalties and “income streams” the singer had before his death, the legal documents state. “After the Final Inventory and Appraisal is completed and filed, Petitioner will file the final accounting with the Court,” they read.

There is a deadline of December 31 to have all his items appraised in order for executors to confirm what Aaron’s young son Prince, who has been listed as a beneficiary of his estate, will receive. However, there is a claim from the State of California Tax Board Fargo against Aaron’s estate for more than $77,000.

Aaron’s death came as a shock to his family, friends and fans, but the singer had hinted at his mental wellbeing in the months leading up to his death. He was found in the bathtub of his home, with police reports suggesting he had been dead for some time before his body was discovered.

His death was ruled an accidental by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner, and the cause of death was attributed to drowning after inhaling difluoroethane and taking Xanax. The coroner’s report indicated that Aaron was “incapacitated while in the bathtub due to the effects” of the drugs he took.

In July last year, Aaron’s twin sister Angel Carter laid him to rest at Forest Lawn in Los Angeles, and she called burying her beloved brother her “last act of love.” She heartbreakingly told People: “To lose a twin, it's an out-of-body experience. He's a part of me.”
