Man accused of sexual assault after teen jumps from moving vehicle in Lancaster County
LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A Lincoln man is charged with sexual assault after a teenager jumped from his moving vehicle in rural Lancaster County, court records show. The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Cesar Rodriguez on Friday. Rodriguez has since been charged with one count of first-degree sexual assault.
Animal Control Reports Case of Rabies in Fox
Residents asked to ensure pets are current on rabies vaccine. Lincoln Animal Control today reported that a fox has tested positive for rabies. It is the first case of confirmed rabies in a fox in Lincoln. The fox came in contact with a person’s dog and was injured. Animal Control was later called and picked up the injured fox that was also showing signs of illness.

Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 112 degrees are possible. A heat advisory also remains in effect from 1 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 13.
