    Public Records: Fairfield County restaurant inspections

    The following are restaurant inspections with critical violations, as conducted by the Fairfield County Health Department from March 11 to 22.

    March 18

    Sims Corner, 3035 Delmont Road, Lancaster. No person in charge was present in the kitchen to correct violations. Observed hot dogs and sausages marked "Exp. 3/17." Observed mushrooms and sauce in the cold holding table not date marked.

    March 20

    Buckeye Nail Spa, LLC, 1405 Ety Road NW, Lancaster. Observed the handwash sink completely blocked with food storage and other items.

    Sonic SRI #5731, 1334 Ety Point Drive, Lancaster. Observed utensils hung to dry in the ware washing area with visible dirt and grease on the utensils. There was also dirt and grease on the utensil rack.

    March 21

    K2 Life/Real Church, 5780 Reynoldsburg Baltimore Road, Pickerington. Observed a container of black beans with no date marking.

    Texas Roadhouse, 2890 Columbus Lancaster Road NW, Lancaster. Observed a trash can stored in front of the handwashing sink. Observed hot water sanitization temperature was only reaching 166 F. Observed bacon that should be either hot held, cold held, or time-stamped with a 4-hour time marking at 60 F. Observed one live and two dead bugs that appeared to be cockroaches (live located in a chemical storage closet, dead located in monitoring trap near bar area and by bar dishwasher).
