    OHSAA tournament: Where each Lancaster-area H.S. baseball team will begin its tourney run

    COLUMBUS — Area high school baseball teams discovered their tournament fate during Sunday’s Central District and Southeast District tournament draw.

    Regardless of your team’s record, tournament time is always exciting because it gives teams new life and something to play for. The goal for every team is to make it to the state tournament.

    May 5: Tournament draw

    Mat 11-18: Sectional tournament

    May 20-25: District tournament

    May 30-31: Regional tournament

    June 7-8-9: State tournament at Akron’s Canal Park

    Westerville South at Lancaster, May 15, 5 p.m.

    Division II

    Centennial or Beechcroft at Bloom-Carroll, May 14, 5 p.m.

    Piketon at Fairfield Union, May 13, 5 p.m.

    Division III

    Amanda-Clearcreek at North Union, May 13, 5 p.m.

    Liberty Union at Centerburg, May 13, 5 p.m.

    Division IV

    Liberty Christian at Berne Union, May 14, 5 p.m.

    Madison Christian at Millersport, May 14, 5 p.m.

    Northside Christian at Fairfield Christian Academy, May 14, 5 p.m.

    Fisher Catholic at Granville Christian, May 14, 5 p.m.
