    High School Roundup: Lancaster girls’ soccer remains unbeaten OCC-Buckeye Division

    Here's a look at this week's local high school sports scores and highlights.

    SOCCER

    Lancaster 7, Reynoldsburg 0: The Lady Gales improved to 11-1-1 overall and 5-0 in the Ohio Capital Conference-Buckeye Division after their win over the Raiders.

    Sienna Westbrooks scored three goals to lead the way and added two assists. Molly Stedman chipped in two goals and an assist, while Andie Jurecki and Ava VanMeter scored one goal each, and Brooke Derringer added an assist. Madelyn Boothe finished with two saves in goal and Kara Mitchell had one.

    Bloom-Carroll 10, Wellington 0: The Bulldogs went on the road and cruised in their nonconference victory over the Jaguars.

    Savannah Wilde scored three goals, Mackenzie Haslett added two, and Tessa Brooks, Cameron Hartsook, Emma Blose, Davynn Miller and Kaylee Morris all had one goal each. Lauryn Pinkerton finished with one save.

    VOLLEYBALL

    Lancaster 3, Groveport 0: The Lady Gales cruised in their OCC-Buckeye Division 25-8, 25-19, 25-12 win over the Cruisers.

    Kileigh Rohr had nine kills, Hailey Rings finished with eight kills, Rylee Johnson had 15 digs, and Maria Pillar and Ella Utt chipped in seven digs each.

    Bloom-Carroll 3, Circleville 0: the Bulldogs improved to 7-0 in the Mid-State League-Buckeye Division and 13-1 overall after their win over the Tigers.

    Corinne Knapp had 18 kills, Madison Lacy finished with 42 assists and 11 digs, Evelyn Brown had 14 kills and three blocks and Sienna Hogue added 13 digs.

    The Bulldogs defeated Fairfield Union 25-19, 28-26, 25-15 in MSL play. Brown finished with 20 kills, Knapp had 15 kills, Lady added 50 assists and Hogue chipped in 17 digs.

    Fairfield Christian Academy 3, Millersport 2: The Knights pulled out a hard-fought 13-25, 25-18, 26-28, 25-22, 15-12 win over the Lakers to improve to 8-7 overall and 7-2 in the MSL-Cardinal Division.

    GOLF

    Lancaster girls: The Lady Gales won a quad match by placing first with a 204 total at Valley View and were followed by Thomas Worthington (239) and Worthington Kilbourne (251).

    Aubrie Bibler was the medalist with a 45, followed by Molly Stedman (49), Brennan Salapek (53), Paige Hughes (57), Maddie Barnes (61), and Nirvana Smith (63).

    Lancaster finished third in the OCC-Buckeye with a 13-6 record. Aubrie Bibler was first team, Molly Stedman second team, and Brennan Salapek was honorable mention.

    Fairfield Christian boys: The Knights placed second at Darby Creek Golf Course to move on to the District tournament at Turnberry Golf Course. With a team score of 329, the Knights finished second behind a 316 from Mechanicsburg. Led by Connor Blair who finished second with a 76, Jonnie Sparks with an 81, Harrison Teal with an 82, and Reilly Brant with a 90. Also competing was Josh Witte who shot 92.

    Fairfield Union boys: The Falcons fired a 327, finished in fourth place at their Division II Southeast sectional tournament, and secured a spot in next week's District tournament at Crown Hill Golf Course.

    Leading the way for the Falcons was Dylan Chilcote with 79, Isaiah Delong 80, Eli Wolfe 81, Bryce Lepi 87 and Caden Featheroff 90

    Berne Union boys: The Rockets advanced to the district Tournament by shooting a 371 at Oakhaven Golf Course. The Rockets will play in the Division III district tournament at Turnberry next Wednesday for the first time in over 20 years.  The Rockets were led by Cameron Brown with an 89, Colt Ratliff 92, Will Bolton 95, Colt Probasco 95 and Zach Hartmann 97.

    TENNIS

    Lancaster 4, Bloom-Carroll 1: Singles: Kynlee Baer defeated Ariel Howard 6-1, 0-6, 7-6; Kaylee Akers defeated Lauren Clidence 3-2, ret.; Kenzie White Carmen Kant 6-0, 6-1. Doubles: Raychel Grove-Addison Brown defeated Brinkley Conklin- Tori Wellington 6-3, 6-1; Addy Brown-Vivian Worthington defeated Marley Sheehan-Eliana Perry 6-4, 6-2.

    Hilliard Bradley 4, Lancaster 1: Singles: Shriya Reddy (H) defeated Kynlee Baer 6-0, 6-1; Kaylee Akers (L) defeated Hasika Kalavala 6-3, 6-0; Grace Garcia (H) defeated Kenzie White 7-6, 6-4. Doubles: Fiona Chen-Megan Biddle (H) defeated Brinkley Conklin-Tori Wellington 6-1, 6-3; Annika Shah-Olivia Bogue (H) defeated Addy Brown-Vivian Worthington 6-2, 7-6.
