    Friday's results

    Berne Union 48, Millersport 0: The Rockets jumped out to a 20-0 first-quarter lead and never looked back in their Mid-State League-Cardinal Division win over the visiting Lakers (2-4).

    Berne Union finished with 411 total yards, including 379 on the ground. Mayson Walton led the way with 107 yards on seven carries and a touchdown. Jarett Thompson finished with 98 yards rushing and two touchdowns on nine carries, and Dylan Finefrock chipped in 77 yards on seven carries and scored on touchdown runs of 2, 11 and 38 yards.

    The Lakers turned the ball over four times. Brock Wright led Millersport with 89 yards rushing on 10 carries.

    Bloom-Carroll 35, Fairfield Union 0: The Bulldogs went on the road and cruised in their Mid-State League-Buckeye Division win over the Falcons (2-3). Bloom-Carroll improved to 5-1 overall and 3-0 in the conference.

    Jude Blair scored two rushing touchdowns, Beau Sherman scored on a 52-yard touchdown run and returned a fumble for another score, and Ethan Thanthanavong passed for a touchdown.

    Martins Ferry 48, Fairfield Christian Academy 0: Fresh off its big win over rival Fisher Catholic in Week 5, the Knights were;t able to keep the momentum going in their nonconference loss to Martins Ferry (5-1). No other information was available.

    Zanesville Rosecrans 35, Fisher Catholic 18: The Irish (2-4) fell short in their Mid-State League-Cardinal Division loss to the host Bishops (3-3). No other information was available.
